Membership OwnershipEach SGMP membership requires a single individual representative who will receive the rights and benefits of membership in our Society. More than one individual at an organization may be a member of SGMP, but the memberships are not considered corporate or agency memberships. Organizational MembershipsAn "organizational" membership is paid for (and belongs to) the company/agency employing the individual and remains with that organization; the organization may transfer it to another individual. At no point is an entire organization considered an “organizational membership”. Individual MembershipAn "individual" membership is paid for (and belongs to) the individual and remains with that individual regardless of their place of employment; it is not transferable to another individual. If the dues payment that comes with a membership application is on a personal check or credit card, that membership is marked as "individual." Transferring an Organizational MembershipIn order to transfer an organizational membership, please fill out the Membership Transfer Form. Memberships transferred during the renewal period are free; memberships transferred outside of the renewal period incur a $25 fee. Fill out the Membership Transfer Form Online
