In December 2023, the SGMP National Board of Directors met to review feedback from the 2023 Member Benefits Survey, input from our chapter leadership, and proposals from the Gilmer Institute of Trustees. Using this valuable information, over two days, the National Board devised an aggressive and expansive Strategic Plan. This new Strategic Plan outlines efforts in capacity building and member benefit expansion, and is designed to position SGMP as the premier organization for government meeting planners.
