Governance
The Society of Government Meeting Professionals (SGMP) is committed to transparency and member engagement across all areas of society work. To that end, we make available our governing documents to the public for review.
Bylaws
SGMP is governed by Bylaws as drafted in October 1981 and revised, most recently, in July 2023.
Policies
SGMP's Policies support consistent and transparent work at our National Offices and across our 18 chapters and 3 satellite chapters.
Code of Ethics
SGMP's Code of Ethics ensures members are treated fairly at all levels of the Society.
Financials
SGMP maintains audited financial statements for review by SGMP members. We file an annual 990 tax form, and 990-N tax forms on behalf of our subsidiaries.
