About Us

The Northern Lights Chapter of the Society of Government Meeting Professionals was founded in September 1997 as the 25th Chapter of SGMP. Now a regional satellite chapter, we are based in Minnesota, and serve the needs of federal, state, and local government meeting professionals in Minnesota, Iowa, Illinois, Wisconsin, North Dakota, and South Dakota. We hold quarterly networking and professional development meetings throughout the region to support the mission and goals of SGMP.
