Attend a Board Meeting

All board meetings are open to chapter members! It’s a great way to better understand the functions of the board, how decisions are made, and see what’s coming up! Board meetings are the 3rd Wednesday of each month at 8:30am. Contact the Chapter President if you are interested in attending a board meeting.

Get Involved: Committees

The Carolinas Chapter features five active committees that collaborate closely with the board to drive our chapter's success. If you are interested in joining a committee or learning more, please reach out to a board member today!

Communications Committee: Drives member engagement by managing emails, social media, and the chapter website. This team also secures sponsorships and prepares the chapter’s submission for the prestigious Communications of the Year (COY) award—all with the goal of delivering relevant information and resources to our community.

Membership Committee: Serves as the growth engine of our chapter, focusing on strategic initiatives to recruit new members and design meaningful retention experiences for our current community.

Programming Committee: Elevates professional growth by delivering high-quality educational opportunities. This team sources speakers and venues for monthly meetings, collaborating directly with host properties to manage event logistics and structure.

Honors & Awards Committee: Celebrates excellence within our chapter by managing the annual nomination process and coordinating year-end accolades, including the President’s Award, Planner of the Year, and Supplier of the Year.

Fundraising Committee: Champions the chapter's financial sustainability by planning and executing one to two major fundraising activities each year.
