Monthly meetings are $11 for planners and $26 for suppliers. Non-members may attend their first event for free, they may attend a second meeting without joining if they pay, but must join to attend a third event. A 50/50 raffle will be available to enter at the meeting with cash or check only, $1 per ticket for $5 for 6.

Conflict is an inevitable part of meeting planning—but it doesn't have to derail an event or damage professional relationships. This session will provide MOCAP members with practical strategies for recognizing, managing, and resolving conflict in the fast-paced world of government meetings. Participants will explore effective communication techniques, ways to de-escalate challenging situations, and approaches for turning difficult conversations into opportunities for collaboration and stronger partnerships.
Carlton Flowers is a keynote speaker, seminar trainer, entrepreneur, and civil engineer from Jefferson City, Missouri. With more than 25 years of experience as a speaker and a 29-year career with the State of Missouri, Carlton brings a unique blend of professional experience, practical insight, and a passion for helping people see different perspectives.
